Autumnal Feelings

I know its unbelievably and shamefully early, but I am beginning to feel that desire for cosy autumnal nights to creep back in. Its only been summer for about a week! Crisp misty mornings, cosy knitted socks, shiny red beads of rowan, foraging for blackberries, forests of red orange and gold. Oooh I can't wait! But shhhh... no one must know....

Last year I made a lovely Pinterest board about Autumn (or fall for any American readers) which I am hoping to add to more this year.

I thought I would take a picture of some socks I spun and knitted last year just as it was waning. They provided my with much warmth and comfort in those dark cold nights and I am looking forward to wearing them again, but I suppose its a little early in june. Back in the sock draw you go.
